Description
This assignment was to create a smart board presentation that is interactive for the whole class. It was a group project that I designed alongside to fellow classmates. The presentation could be on anything but we decided to do ours on animals and their habitats. There are multiple pages that all require student participation in some shape or form. If you listen carefully you may even find out what a slot sounds like!

Reflection
I loved this assignment. It wasn't until my high school years, one of which I spent at a local college, that we got smart boards in to our classrooms. So before this experience I hadn't had much use with smart boards other then the basic writing features. The type of presentation I created is both informational and fun which is perfect for lesson introductions and wrap ups. The knowledge and practice I gained through this assignment can be used in any lesson, provided there is smart board in my classroom.
The standard that we used applies to student use. I see myself using the white board activity most as a formative assessment tool to see where students are at in a lesson. So they will be using their existing knowledge to complete the interactive activities in this lesson.
